Police search railway lines to locate missing Harrogate man

Harrogate Police have continued their search for missing person, Kenneth Thompson, over the holiday weekend.

Mr Thompson is aged 45 and was last seen by his mother leaving his home on St Andrews Walk at around 8.30am on Friday 30 March 2012. He is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, with a medium build, blue eyes, light brown cropped hair and a moustache.

When he was last seen, Mr Thompson, who wears glasses, was wearing a dark blue Morrisons sweatshirt and black jeans.

Yesterday, 8 April 2012 the Police used the Mobile Police office on Knaresborough Road to help gain further information from the general public. The British Transport Police have also supported the investigations by walking the railway lines in the Harrogate area.

Anyone who can help officers to locate Mr Thompson is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for Harrogate police, quoting reference number 12120050296.
