A lucky Weeton’s shopper will have an ‘eggtra’ special surprise this Easter Sunday when they find a golden ticket hidden in their Weeton’s Easter egg.

Just like the Roald Dahl story ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, the golden ticket winner will be presented with a host of magical and marvellous chocolate goodies and sweet treats, including Easter Cake Pops produced by the Tiny Cake Company in Richmond, chunky chocolate lollies from Choc Affair in York, not to mention gingerbread flowers, fruity bon bons and strawberry piglets.

The Easter Eggs containing the golden ticket are handmade by local artisan producer the Harrogate Cake Company. They are hollow eggs made with Belgian chocolate in milk, plain or white available in a range of sizes from small to enormous.

Jo Loftus, Operations Director of Weeton’s said:

We are very excited that one of our customers has the chance to buy the egg containing the golden ticket. It will be a lovely surprise for someone while enjoying their delicious chocolate Easter egg to discover they’ve won of a hamper full of choccy delights and other wonderful sweet treats from our farm shop, the Easter egg sales have gone ‘Wonkas’ this year.
