Cleaning equipment stolen in Harrogate

PoliceHarrogate police are appealing for information after thieves stole a haul of industrial carpet cleaning equipment from a garage.

The cleaning appliances were taken sometime over the weekend between Friday 23 March and Monday 26 March 2012, when a heavy duty padlock which was securing the garage door on Coppice Gate, in the New Park area of the town, was cut off.

The offenders got away with an Ebac industrial humidifier, an Ebac air mover, a Steam Pro Power Max carpet cleaner, a Steam Pro Plus 2000 industrial steamer, a Sebo vacuum cleaner and a Pro Chem dry fibre machine.

Officers are appealing for anyone who has any information about the theft to come forward.

PC Emma Newby, of Harrogate police, said:

I am urging anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident to contact the police or Crimestoppers.

I would also like to speak to anyone who may have been offered any of these items for sale recently.

Anyone who can help the investigation is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for Emma Newby or Harrogate police.
