Concert raises £1,208 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research

A Concert in Northallerton College on Friday 16 March has raised £1,208 for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Charity.

The first half featured the Northallerton Woodwind Ensemble followed by a short talk and then the College Jazz Bank really made it all go with a swing in the second half.

The cheque was presented on the night and NOW the total amount raised is £1,221.00

The Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Charity was founded by the parents of Sylvia Gaunt after the death of her sister Susan in 1960 to the terrible disease. They have raised over £400 million to-date
