Higher rights of audience for Harrogate Solicitor

11 January 2012

Harrogate solicitor Helen Howard of McCormicks can now appear in Courts up to the Supreme Court after gaining the Higher Courts (Criminal Proceedings) qualification.

Helen is a member of McCormicks’ Corporate Crime and Risk team and assists partner Geoff Rogers across a broad range of criminal legal work.

McCormicks won recommendations for its criminal practice in the latest editions of both the leading guides to the legal profession, the UK Legal 500 and Chambers UK.

Helen joined the firm in 2010 from a law firm in the north east and is a member of the Duty Solicitor Scheme.

Geoff Rogers said:

Helen plays an important role in what is a hugely busy department and her new qualification means that she will be able to guide clients through the complete Court system at all levels.
