SINCERELY NOËL

Alistair McGowanThis Valentine’s Day, the songs, poems and prose of Noël Coward will come to life in a newly devised piece by Alistair McGowan. The play was originally performed in a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival 2009 under the title “Cocktails with Coward”. Sincerely Noël will see the union of Alistair McGowan(Impressionist, stand-up comedian, actor and writer) and musical actress CharlottePage (Christine – Phantom of the Opera) engage in an evening of mini dramas and songs.

NICK LOWE

Nick LoweMusic legend Nick Lowe graces the Harrogate Theatre stage for one night only. Nick played at Glastonbury 2011, performing a short solo set of Brinsley Schwarz tracks on The Spirit Of 71 stage, where they played back in 1971, before heading to the Acoustic Stage for a full band show. His new album ‘The Old Magic’ is due for release in September 2011.

The times they are a-changin’ at Harrogate’s longest running monthly comedy club. This season will see the Hyena Comedy Club move to Saturday evenings which means you can let your hair down, laugh your socks off and not worry about having to get up for work the next day (unless you work on a Sunday that is!). Jason Cook is headlining February’s show.
