P B Curran moved out of its city centre offices in High Petergate to larger premises in Osbaldwick in 2008 to prepare for growth. Since then the business has acquired four Yorkshire brokerages and plans further expansion in the future.

“Our biggest challenge is to ensure we retain our traditional values of personal service and client contact as we grow,” said Managing Director Edward Curran, whose father founded the firm.

P B Curran has specialist teams working with manufacturing businesses, museums and charities, farmers, shops and offices and landlords. The company also carries out commercial work in a variety of sectors including haulage and the motor trade and recently became one of only a few independent firms to offer professional indemnity insurance for solicitors and other professional service businesses.

Mr Curran said the new appointments built on the existing expertise within the business.“These new appointments will strengthen our commercial operation and give us the necessary resources to service our growing client base,” he said.
