Bilton Gala in Harrogate will be on Monday 2 May 2011 starting at 12.30 with a parade around Bilton finishing at the Richard Taylor School for a Gala throughout the afternoon.

Gala Parade

The parade starts at 12.30 from Meadowcroft and travels down onto Bilton Lane, Grosvenor Grove and onto King Edwards drive

Events

“Jumpin” Jez Avery brings his spectacular stunt show back to Bilton in 2011. Jez will perform 2 shows using a combination of Mountain Bike, Motorcycle and Honda Pilot Buggy. He will ride his mountain bike with and without the front wheel, performing balancing tricks and jumping over willing volunteers. He then introduces his motorcycle stunts, including ramp to ramp jumps.He will then put the buggy through its paces with power slides, donuts, precision parking and 40 mph rear wheel wheelies.

Carol and Philip Mellin are coming to Bilton for the first time with their Sheepdog and Duck display. This is a brilliant display showing how clever these working dogs are. Carol and Philip were featured on ITV1’s The Dales on Monday 4th April

Ben Potter and his fantastic Birds of Prey are also making a welcome return. Back by popular demand Ben will be bringing some of the most unique and magnificent birds found in the whole of the UK and all the Birds will fly free. There will be Eagles, Vultures and much more providing a brilliant flying display. www.birdsofpreydisplays.co.uk
