Easter egg meltdown at Bettys Tea rooms

23 April 2011

As temperatures reached over 21 degrees centigrade Bettys tea rooms in Harrogate struggled to keep their Easter egg display in the window from melting.Bettys are famous for  their chocolate  having been originally founded by Frederick Belmont, a Swiss confectioner, in July 1919 before later merging with Taylors.

Coming up to Easter each year they adorn their windows with a wonderful selection of chocolate eggs.
