What separates the great businesses from the good ones will be at the fore for the Future Farmers of Yorkshire group at their next meeting. Held at the Great Yorkshire Showground, two first class speakers will cover Business Planning at the event on Tuesday 16 April.
James Hopwood, Future Farmer and Chairman for the evening said:
Business planning is something that we all know we should do, but when we are busy with the day to day aspects of the business, not enough of us actually tackle it. This event brings together two speakers who will talk about the theory and reality of Business Planning which will hopefully encourage attendees to think about the next steps in their own businesses.
Speakers are: Yorkshire farmer, Guy Poskitt, Managing Director of MH Poskitt and Peter Molyneux, Partner at Armstrong Watson Accountants.
Major tasks such as how to write a business plan and present it to the bank are hugely important if you are starting a new business or expanding an existing one.
Our speakers will be discussing these and much more, making it a “not to miss” event.
Future Farmers of Yorkshire was launched in November 2010 and is based at the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. It brings together younger farmers, vets and industry supporters. The social, but informative group offers the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, develop networks, organise events with key speakers and enjoy a social get together.
The event, which is free, begins at 7.15pm with a light supper. For more information on the evening, contact Elizabeth Hudson, Project Manager at the Yorkshire Agricultural Society on 07702 598108 or firstname.lastname@example.org
