Ahoy, me Hearties! Get ready to walk the plank and sail the high seas as Harrogate Youth Theatre present their fun-packed family adventure – Treasure Island. Following the success of previous summer productions of The BFG and The Wind In The Willows this perfectly piratical treat will be at Harrogate Theatre from Thursday 9 – Saturday 11 August.

Capturing the energy and adventure of Stevenson’s coming-of-age tale, Harrogate Youth Theatre bring to life one of the greatest adventure stories of them all. Billy Bones has the secret map, marked with three red crosses. Blind Pugh and Black Dog are following him; Long John Silver and his parrot are closing in. Will Jim Hawkins escape; will Lady Trelawney and Captain Smollett arrive in time? Expect swashbuckling excitement and plenty of yo-ho-ho!

Backed by a professional creative team and a truly stunning set that has to be seen to be believed a cast of 17 young people, ranging in age from 12 to 19, and professional actor, Zach Lee as ruthless pirate Long John Silver, bring Stevenson’s much-loved yarn to life in a polished production.
