Harrogate mobility shop, Able to Enable, becomes accredited partner

28 July 2017

Harrogate mobility shop and family business Able to Enable is celebrating its status as a Companion Accredited Partner, after it joined the scheme run by one of the largest suppliers of stairlifts and accessible bathing solutions nationwide.

Able to Enable was established in 1998 and now has shops in York, Harrogate and Goole. Managing director Lewis Gibson believes that support from companies such as Companion’s Accredited Partner scheme has an important part to play in the continued success of the business.

Lewis said:

Partnering with a reputable business such as Companion means we can stay in the showroom and sell what we know, trusting them to provide high quality and reliable products to our customers with the same level of service that they expect from us.

Since the Accredited Partner scheme was launched in May, Companion has signed up over 150 mobility shops from all over the UK.

Companion’s managing director Clare Brophy said:

We’re absolutely thrilled that Lewis has chosen to register with our new Accredited Partner scheme. We look forward to working with the team to provide their customers with stairlifts and accessible bathing solutions which help them to stay safely and comfortably in their homes.
