High Street TV invests in international expansion with new Asia base

24 October 2016

Market-leading multi-channel retailer, High Street TV (Group) Limited, has announced a major investment into its international division, opening its first base in Asia.

The brand’s Asia HQ will be in Guangzhou, China, enhancing the company’s existing Far East product sourcing and manufacturing capacity, as well as enabling High Street TV to accelerate the production of its own product portfolio.

Based in Harrogate, High Street TV is the UK’s most successful and longest running multi-channel DRTV Home Shopping Channel, broadcasting over 3,000 hours per month across five dedicated TV channels. The brand’s successful product portfolio includes NutriBullet, Pressure King Pro and XHose – all category bestsellers. It trades with more than 40 leading blue chip UK retailers across 9,000 outlets and trades globally.

Jim Coleman, co-founder & chief executive, said he was delighted to announce such a major investment into High Street TV’s international business.

Jim commented:

The launch of our first office in Asia is very exciting news for High Street TV. We already have a headquarters and distribution centre in the UK in addition to a filming studio in Los Angeles so China was a natural next step considering the success of our own product portfolio and, subsequently, a requirement to scale up our manufacturing capabilities.

New products such as Pressure King Pro have performed extremely well for us, becoming category bestsellers within weeks.

We will be recruiting a number of roles at our Guangzhou base to work with manufacturing partners and new suppliers in Asia, overseeing the development and production of new and existing products.

We look forward to working closely with our colleagues in China to bring the next exciting new High Street TV products to market.

  1. Hello, do you have a shop at your premises so people can see and browse the products rather than just on line purchases
