High Street TV topping-out ceremony marks milestone for major expansion of its Harrogate Headquarters

15 September 2016

Harrogate-based High Street TV has held a topping-out ceremony to mark the completion of the main structural works for its new bespoke headquarters at Central House, Harrogate.

Staff and representatives involved in the development were invited to attend the ancient builder’s tradition which marks a landmark stage of any construction project.

The new headquarters, designed by Harrogate company Absolute Contract Interiors, will provide 26,000 sq ft of office space. This will feature a studio and editing suite for producing in-house infomercials, a Village Green and a ZAP room where employees can go for inspiration from motivational books and video, time-out in the massage chairs or even create a NutriBullet smoothie suited to their needs.

The interior fit-out will now commence with completion and a moving in date set for later this year.

Andrew Malcher, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman at High Street TV, said: “Our growth over the past couple of years has been incredible and more space is essential to support our continued expansion and long-term plans. Our new headquarters will be an inspirational, energetic and fun place to work and will completely transform our working environment. We are all really excited to move in and continue making High Street TV an exceptional place to work.”

High Street TV is one of the UK’s largest and most successful multi-channel retailers selling inspiring, innovative and proven products for everyday use. The company was responsible for bringing the NutriBullet phenomenon to the UK and sells category leading products such as X-Hose and Pressure King Pro across over 9,000 retail outlets including John Lewis, Tesco and Selfridges.

It was recently recognised as one of the country’s best performing businesses by the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100, as well as ranking 12 in the prestigious annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table, making them one of the top dozen UK businesses with the fastest growing international sales over the past 2 years.
