18 August 2016

One of North Yorkshire’s largest accountancy firms is offering an alternative career path for those who have decided university isn’t for them.

Saffery Champness in Harrogate is giving post A’Level candidates a chance to take their first step on the ladder in accountancy and earn money whilst having their professional training paid for.

The Harrogate office of the firm, which is listed amongst the top 20 accountancy firms in the UK, is continuing its investment in professionals of the future through training programmes covering Tax and Accounting qualifications.

Jonathan Davis, partner in the Harrogate office, said the scheme would cover every stage of professional training leading to full qualification as an accountant or tax professional.

Jonathan said:

Not only will our trainees start earning money straight away, they’ll also be gaining valuable commercial experience from day one.

Our teams enjoy sharing their knowledge and expertise and they are keen to invest time and energy in developing our trainees.
