Re-brand for leading business IT services provider Vital Technology Group

8 August 2016

One of the Yorkshire regions leading providers of business IT services has undergone a complete re-brand as it looks to strengthen its position following the acquisition of a rival company late last year and a move to larger premises in January.

Vital Technology Group, based in Wetherby, has consolidated and refocused its brand to better reflect its modern, joined up solutions across IT, managed and cloud services, unified and business telecommunications and web development.

The major re-branding exercise has resulted in a whole new corporate image – from logos and colours through to image libraries, new work-wear, vehicle graphics and a brand new website.

The brand includes a new, modern and clean logo which includes a stylised ‘V’ design which can stand alone as a simple, recognisable device. The new branding has now been rolled out across all of the company’s online and offline marketing material, signage, vehicles and more.

Lee Evans, managing director of Vital Technology Group, said:

Following an exciting period of growth at Vital, including new premises and a strategic acquisition, we felt we needed to ensure that our brand really reflected the business – our ethos, our services, our values and goals – as we accelerate our growth over the next stage of the company’s life.

We also wanted to reinforce our individuality and communicate why we are different to our competitors; as part of the exercise we have worked really hard to define who we are, what we do and why and how we do it.

We have completely re-written our company values and philosophy statement and adopted the strapline; ‘Whatever IT takes’ to reflect that we are, and always have been, a customer focused business.

The re-brand marks the final departure of the independent subsidiary brands – Vital Network Solutions, Vital Online Studio and Vital Telecommunications – which were rolled into the Vital Technology Group earlier this year.

Earlier this year the business was awarded Silver Partner Status for its competency in delivering infrastructure and SaaS (software as a solution) on Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform, as well as Microsoft Gold Partner status for Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions, which recognises its expertise as a Microsoft Cloud Service Provider and, in particular, with the Microsoft Office 365 platform.

Vital worked with Wylde by Design of Harrogate for brand design and strategy. De-Signs of Harrogate provided all exterior and interior signage and vehicle branding.
