“Public hold the key” say police in search for missing sex offender

I believe that members of the public hold the key to Gibson’s current whereabouts. I am appealing to public transport workers and passengers, taxi drivers, bus drivers, as well as hotel and guest house owners across the Yorkshire region and beyond, to please call us if they believe they have seen Gibson. It is vital that he is returned to custody as soon as possible.

He was last seen wearing dark trousers and a jacket which is red on the top half and a dark colour on the bottom half. He was carrying a JD Sports bag over his shoulder.

Extensive police enquiries have been carried out and will continue until Gibson is found, including liaison with neighbouring forces.

To assist the police enquiries, anyone who has seen Gibson or knows of his current whereabouts is asked to contact the police, please do not approach him, but call 999 immediately.
