Leading name in “Brexit” campaign to Speak at Harrogate EU referendum meeting

16 March 2016

One of the leading names in the “Brexit” movement will be taking to the stage at an EU referendum meeting taking place in Harrogate this Thursday. (17 March 2016)

Headlining the public event, being held at 7.30pm at the town’s Ascot House Hotel, on Kings Road, will be UKIP deputy leader, Paul Nuttall.

Being organised by the Harrogate & Knaresborough branch of GRASSROOTSOUT – GO, the evening comes on the back of two highly successful action days held in Knaresborough and Boroughbridge.

Organiser Andrew Dennis said:

We are very much looking forward to welcoming Paul to our meeting on Thursday, when he will talk about his reasons for wanting the UK to leave the EU.

Being an MEP, Paul is incredibly well placed to give an insider’s perspective as to why he believes our future lies outside the EU, and not within.

The referendum has been set for Thursday, June 23, and for us the choice is simple. We want to be able to control our borders, make our laws and trade with the whole world and not just Europe.

We do not need, nor want, to be governed by an increasingly federal state over which we have little or no control, one that will draw us closer both politically and fiscally, and one that is ruled by a cabal of unelected officials who we can never vote out.
