Harrogate fire crews roof rescue in York

A fire engine and aerial ladder platform from Harrogate have rescued a male from the roof of a 2 storey terraced property in York. (13:30 on 2 November 2015)

The man, believed to be in his mid 40’s, had become stuck on the roof whilst attempting to remove a satellite dish.

Fire crews used a 9m ladder, roof ladder, harnesses and a ladder restraint kit on the property on Doherty Walk in York.

The man was uninjured.
