Harrogate town centre stabbing

A man has been left with serious injuries following an incident in the centre of Harrogate.

A man and woman are currently in custody in connection with the incident and the injured man remains in a stable condition.

North Yorkshire Police were called at about 1.50am today (11 October 2015) to a report of a serious assault on Cheltenham Crescent, near the junction with Oxford Street, in Harrogate. The victim, a man in his thirties, was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his back and arms. His condition is described as stable.

  • 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding
  • 26-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender

Both remain in custody at this time.
