Police asks cyclists to come forward who may have witnessed Knaresborough collision

Police are investigating a collision, involving a grey Land Rover Freelander, a red Ford Ka, a red Peugeot Partner van, and a convertible cream VW Beetle, occurred on the B6164 between Knaresborough and Little Ribston at around 2.10pm on Sunday 5 July 2015.

The Land Rover, the Ford and the van were all travelling towards Knaresborough and the Beetle was travelling in the opposite direction, as were the cyclists.

The driver of the Beetle and the group of cyclists did not stop at the scene and officers are urging them to come forward with information.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for Traffic Constable Rob Roberts or Harrogate Roads Policing Group.

The occupants of the Ford Ka suffered slight injuries in the incident but did not require hospital treatment.
