Two students heading to theatre arts training school

Two Grammar School students that are currently studying Dance, Drama and Performing Arts are heading to theatre arts school.

Saskia Dean (Year 12)and have successfully auditioned for Britain’s and the world’s oldest theatre arts training school, Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts.

Nicole Jackson (Year 11) is heading for the Laine Theatre Arts.

Both students also attend Chatsworth Dance and have been attending at least 6 classes every week for a number of years.

The Conti Academy is frequently invited by the profession to appear at prestigious and charitable events. Students have proudly participated and performed in numerous Royal Variety and Children’s Royal Variety Performances, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 40th Anniversary and Golden Jubilee Anniversary Celebrations.

Faculty Leader of Performing Arts at Harrogate Grammar School, Lucy Vincent said:

We are all so proud of Saskia and Nicole and wish them the very best of luck as they begin the next stage of their very exciting journey in to the Performing Arts profession!
