Become an usher at Harrogate Theatre

1 June 2015

Harrogate Theatre is currently seeking to recruit around twenty new volunteer ushers and is hosting a special coffee morning event for anyone interested in finding out more.

Ushers work across multiple venues in Harrogate Town Centre; the Theatre itself, the Royal Hall, and the International Centre. Ushers play a vital role in the smooth running of performances, and dealing with audience queries.

Being an usher is a highly rewarding experience. Not only do they contribute to their cherished local theatre, but they also get to see shows for free, make new friends, and gain valuable experience in an arts setting.

A coffee morning will be held on 20th June at 11am in the Circle Bar at Harrogate Theatre. At the event there will be an opportunity to talk to current ushers, take a tour of the building, and find out more about what ushering involves and the perks offered. Complimentary tea, coffee and cake will be available, and there’s no obligation to sign-up.

There’s no need to book – Just turn up!

For more information email david.robertson@harrogatetheatre.co.uk, call 01423 502 116 or pop in to the Theatre.

Volunteer ushers should be able to easily get to and from the Harrogate Town Centre venues, potentially late at night. Travel expenses cannot be reinbursed.
