Skimming devices found on Harrogate cash machines

Police in Harrogate are warning members of the public to be vigilant after card skimming devices were found in the town.

On Wednesday, 24 September 2014 devices were found by a customer at the following locations:

  • NatWest cash machine on Leeds Road
  • Post Office cash machine on Starbeck, High Street

It is believed the device on the NatWest machine was placed there at around 9am on 24 September and the Starbeck device was placed at around 8.30pm on the same day.

Officers are appealing to any members of the public who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time to contact them.
