Distinctive motorbikes stolen in Harrogate burglary

The bikes – a black and orange 2011 KTM 250 SFX and a black and orange 2012 KTM 250 SFX – were taken during a burglary at a property on Mallinson Grove in Harrogate, at sometime between 10.15pm on Thursday 31 July and 12.30pm the following day.

Officers have released images of the stolen bikes and are urging anyone with information about the burglary to come forward.

The 2011 model had a Red Bull graphic set attached to it and the race number 227 on the side. It had one black wheel and one silver wheel.

The 2012 edition had a JSTAR graphic set on the side and the race number 41. This bike also had one black and one silver wheel.

Officers would also like to hear from you if you have been offered either bike for sale.

Detective Constable Sam Harding, of Harrogate CID, said: It is highly likely that any distinctive stickers or numbers will have been removed by the offenders by now but there are many other distinctive marks and items on these particular bikes, so if you see something similar then please don’t hesitate to contact me.
