Harrogate-based digital display specialist I-Led Media has completed its first major project for supermarket giant, Tesco.

The company which specialises in Digital Kiosks and High Bright Digital Displays has installed a 3.7m wide by 2.3m high external video “tweet” wall – featuring high bright screens – outside the entrance to the Tesco Extra, in Lincoln, which will be used to advertise a range of offers the store and chains is promoting.

I-Led Media – the sister company of SIS-Digital – not only installed the video wall, it undertook the design and manufacturing of the weatherproof enclosure too.

The I-Led-Team selected five, 55in ultra narrow bezel’s screens in portrait mode, which have the potential to display either one message or five separate ones.

I-Led Media Managing Director Andrew Simister said: Because the video wall is outside the store, one of the most important considerations of this project was which type of screen to use.

We opted for full HD LED back-lit displays with a brightness of 1500 NITS, meaning it is readable in very bright sunlight.

Thanks to this installation, we have now been approached by a number of other businesses looking to advertise their products in a similar manner.

I-Led Media clients include Welcome Break, Harry Ramsden’s, Erste Bank, London Designer Outlet and CBS Outdoors.
