Harrogate, January 30, 2014: A new web site has been launched for local charity, The Pinewoods Conservation Group (PCG). The new web site, created free of charge by local business Yorkshire Websites, aims to bring together details of all projects and events the group is involved with. New members are also now able to sign up online via an interactive form. The PCG has also taken the opportunity to move to a new web address where the new site can be found – www.pinewoodsconservationgroup.org.uk.

Penny Johnson from Yorkshire Websites said “As a regular user of the Pinewoods when we heard that the PCG were looking for a new web site we were delighted to offer our services. The site has been designed to showcase the excellent work of the group and allows committee members to take control of the content themselves. It will also ensure better compliance with the many new platforms available such as mobile phones and tablets.”

The new site has been update with all planned events for 2014 and details of latest projects and initiatives.

PCG Vice Chair Neil Hind added “Although our old web site served us well it was starting to look very dated and didn’t give us the platform to highlight the good work that was going on. We hope that the new site will encourage more people to give involved and attend our many events. We cannot thank Penny and Yorkshire Websites enough for their efforts”

The PCG encourage its members, visitors to the Pinewoods and Harrogate residents to visit www.pinewoodsconservationgroup.org.uk and let them know your thoughts. More details of Yorkshire Websites can be found at www.yorkswebsites.co.uk
