Police investigating the unexplained death of a woman found in the river Nidd have said that they have now identified her.
The elderly woman was located at around 8.50am on Wednesday 4 December 2013, in the river near Mother Shipton’s Cave in Knaresborough.
Police are not in a position to release her name, although have confirmed she in her 70’s and from Harrogate.
