Road Crime Team arrests in Harrogate

A man is due to appear in court for motoring offences after being arrested by North Yorkshire Police’s Road Crime Team.

The man, aged 27, is due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 10 December 2013, charged with talking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He was stopped driving a black Peugeot 206 by officers on mobile patrol in Harrogate at around 8.55pm on Wednesday 20 November 2013.

A 25-year-old man who was a passenger in the car was arrested on suspicion of theft after officers found a handbag during a search of the vehicle.

He has been released on police bail as enquiries into the incident continue.
