New trainee for McCormicks

A new Trainee Solicitor has been appointed by McCormicks of Harrogate.

Daniel Bisby joined the practice in 2011 as a Legal Assistant and has now been given a Training Contract.

Daniel graduated from the University of Hull with an honours degree in law and has studied legal practice at the College of Law in York.

At McCormicks he will assist Senior Partner Peter McCormick OBE and Solicitor Lewis Goodwin in Corporate and Commercial, Sport, Media and Intellectual Property work as well as gaining experience in other legal disciplines such as Private Client and Charity law.

Senior Partner Peter McCormick said: “Daniel has made a real impact at the firm with his ability, dedication, enthusiasm and team-player approach. We were delighted that his successful completion of his examinations has enabled us to offer him a Training Contract – he richly deserves it.”

In the current editions of the leading Guides to the profession, McCormicks won a record number of recommendations, with a total of 47 for areas of law and individuals within the firm.
