Steven Hugill, 19, was sentenced to eight months imprisonment, suspended for two years, at York Crown Court on Thursday 6 August 2013, for possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
He had previously pleaded guilty to the charge at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court in July 2013.
As well as the suspended sentence, Hugill was ordered to carry 200 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £1,080, under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The appearance is as the result of a drugs warrant executed at an address on Firs Crescent, Harrogate on Tuesday 18 June 2013.

This sentence shows the determination of everyone in the criminal justice system to stop drug dealers benefitting from their crimes.
Not only does Hugill have to carry out a significant amount of unpaid work, he also has to pay back the money he gained from his criminal behaviour.
