St Aidan’s art students exhibit paintings at London art gallery

18 July 2013

St Aidan’s Art students have something to celebrate as 5 of their works have been chosen as part of the National Student’s Art Exhibition (which is held under the patronage of the Royal Society of British Artists.)

Their works of art were displayed in the Mall Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London alongside paintings from some of Britain’s finest professional artists, as well as works from other young artists from around the country.

The singer, artist, photographer and former Zimbabwean test cricketer, Henry Olanga opened the 11th National Students’ Art Exhibition and as part of the opening he sang two songs.

It was a truly inspirational exhibition celebrating gifted and talented students in Schools, Colleges and Academies.
