A Harrogate-based company providing specialist home care and dementia care services to elderly people is set to create 25 jobs over the coming months as it begins a recruitment drive.

Oliver Stirk established Carefound Home Care has been established for  less than 2 years and the company is now looking for 25 new caring individuals to join the team.

With an ageing population and ever increasing pressures on health services, there is a growing need to help elderly people retain independence at home for longer.

People are also now recognising the benefits of specialist care services, such as the support we provide to people with dementia, and the need for a more realistic ‘stay at home’ option where visits are not rushed and care is provided by professional home carers empowered with the skills they need to make a genuine difference to their clients’ daily lives.

We have therefore seen demand for our services continue to rise and are seeking 25 new people to join our team over the next few months.

Although we are highly selective in our recruitment process (only 1 in 20 applicants are successful on average), our existing home carers come from a wide range of backgrounds and do not necessarily have prior professional caring experience – we are a friendly, supportive team and provide full training in all aspects of the care we provide, including specialist conditions such as dementia. If people are caring, compassionate and take pride in what they do we are keen to hear from them!

Carefound Home Care is a provider of specialist home care and dementia care services to elderly people in North Yorkshire.
