Driver fails to stop following collision on West Park in Harrogate

PolicePolice are asking a woman car driver to come forward after she failed to stop following a minor collision in Harrogate.

The collision occurred at 5.55pm on Wednesday 12 June 2013, on West Park and it involved a blue Fiat 500 and a small blue hatchback. The Fiat sustained damaged along the driver’s side.

Following the collision, the driver of the hatchback paused to push the vehicle’s wing mirror back in to place, before driving away.

Noone was injured as a result of the collision.

Traffic Constable Steve Wright, of North Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Group, said:

If you are the woman who was driving the small blue hatchback, I urge you to come forward, as soon as possible, as I need your details for my report following the collision.

I am also keen to speak to anyone who either witnessed the collision or can identify the woman who was driving and ask them to get in touch.
