Serious collision in Harrogate – Arthur’s Avenue

PoliceA traffic collision occurred at 5.30am on Sunday 7 April 2013, on Arthur’s Avenue in Harrogate, involving a blue BMW which collided with a tree

A 20-year-old local man received a serious neck injury as a result of the accident and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where he remains in a stable condition.

The 20-year-old local man, driving the car, was arrested in connection with the incident. He has been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.

Harrogate police are appealing for information following a serious single vehicle road traffic collision in the town.

Traffic Constable Andy Macleod, of North Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Group, said:

If you witnessed the collision or saw the BMW prior to the incident I ask that you contact the police straight away.
