Harrogate Police looking to find suspected candle thief

Harrogate Police are asking for help identifying a person suspected of leaving a shop without paying for goods.

The incident happened at around 3pm on 26 October 2012, when the man went into Clinton Cards on Cambridge Street, Harrogate, with a woman and a pushchair.

While the woman was paying for goods, the man remained with the pushchair and took Yankee candle from the display and placed it in the pushchair. He then took another candle and hid it in his clothing.

The man then left the store without paying for the goods.

Anyone who can help officers identify the man is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Amanda Hanusch-Moore.
