Fresh appeal to trace wanted York man

26 October 2012

Adam Luke Reynard is wanted for recall to prison as he has failed to comply with the terms of his release licence by failing to live at a specified address and not completing a thinking skills course.

Police have made a fresh appeal for the public’s help.

He was sent to prison for 27 months in November 2010, for assault and burglary which he committed in June and July 2010.

Reynard is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall with a medium build and short brown hair.

At the time of his release Reynard was living in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire. However, it is possible that he may be in York.

Chief Inspector Phil Cain, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

Adam if you see or hear this appeal I cannot urge you strongly enough to hand yourself in immediately. Make no mistake, we are going to find you and every extra day the search takes only makes the outcome worse for you.

We have already made numerous visit to addresses we believe Reynard his links with and will continue to revisit them until he is in custody.

If you know where Reynard is or are helping to shield him you must contact the police as you may be committing offences yourself.

Anyone who can help to locate Adam Reynard is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 immediately, select 1 and pass the information to the Force Control Room.
