£6000 auto kit stolen from Boroughbridge

Police are investigating after a specialist piece if auto equipment was stolen from a garage in Boroughbridge.

Sometime between 9am on 26 September and 9am on 28 September 2012 a Bosch KTS diagnostic machine was taken from a cupboard at Griffin Autos on Horsefair.

The machine, which works on any make of vehicle, was in a black case and is valued at £6000. It is believed the item may have been taken during opening hours.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the theft or has been offered the item for sale, to contact them with information.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for PC Mick Place or Boroughbridge police.
