Moped rider airlifted to Hospital following Starbeck collision

PoliceEmergency services were called at around 12pm on Sunday 22 April 2012 after reports of a road traffic collision on High Street, Starbeck, Harrogate.

The collision involving a red Vauxhall Agila and a cream-coloured Vespa occurred near Starbeck Methodist Church.

The rider of the moped, a 50-year-old local man, suffered injuries to his pelvis, knee, ankle and jaw and was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
