Harrogate Police are continuing their appeal to the public for help in finding Kenneth Thompson.
Kenneth Thompson is aged 45 and was last seen by his mother leaving his home on St Andrews Walk at around 8.30am on Friday 30 March 2012.
He didn’t return by the following morning and was reported missing by concerned members of his family.
Officers have this week been making extensive enquiries in the Harrogate area in an effort to trace Mr Thompson and have asked for the public’s help to find him.
He is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, with a medium build, blue eyes, light brown cropped hair and a moustache.
When he was last seen, Mr Thompson, who wears glasses, was wearing a dark blue Morrisons sweatshirt and black jeans
Police are urging anyone who knows where Mr Thompson is or has seen him around, to get in touch.
Inspector Bruce Prendergast, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:
This is clearly a very worrying situation for Mr Thompson’s family and it is important that we locate him as soon as possible.
Due to the amount of time that has elapsed since Mr Thompson was last seen, we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
I am urging all members of the public in Harrogate to keep their eyes peeled and let the police know as soon as possible if they see Mr Thompson or have any other information that can help us to locate him.
I would also appeal directly to Mr Thompson to get in touch with the police or his family if he sees this appeal and let us know that he is are safe and well.
