Update on dog walker injured on Christmas Eve in Killinghall

PoliceThe Police have confirmed that the 67-year-old man injured during the collision in Killinghall on Christmas Eve  remains in a stable condition at Harrogate District Hospital.

The collision involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa heading towards Ripley and the local man who was crossing the road with his dog near the junction with Crofters Green. The man suffered multiple injuries and was taken by ambulance to Harrogate District. His dog was also injured.

Police enquiries remain ongoing and witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing either the silver Vauxhall Corsa or the man walking the dog prior to the collision, are asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Traffic Constable Steve Wright or Harrogate Road Policing Group.
