Appeal to locate missing Thirsk woman (now found)

Update 24 Dec 2011 – woman now found

Police in Thirsk are appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing woman.

Jean Foxhall, 60, of Saxty Way, Sowerby, has not been seen since midday on Thursday 22 December 2011, in Thirsk market place getting onto a Reliance bus which will then have travelled to York.

Police are concerned for her welfare as Jean has health issues and is not thought to be wearing a coat.

When Jean was last seen she was carrying a purse and wearing a pink sweatshirt, cream trousers and Ugg boots.

Although her whereabouts are unknown, it is thought that Jean may be intending to travel to London by train.

Police Sergeant Frances Hannan, of Thirsk Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

I am appealing to anyone who may have seen Jean since she went missing to get in touch as a matter of urgency.

I am hoping that people will remember seeing a lady wearing the bright pink jumper and no coat.

Anyone who can help the police to locate Jean Foxhall is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 straight away and press option 1.
