Harrogate Home Cinema tunes into York market

21 December 2011

A Harrogate-based audio visual company is expanding into York.

Not only has Audio Vogue, best known for its Harrogate Home Cinema brand, acquired city-based AVSinc Services, it is now eyeing up suitable high street properties to open a showroom and create a new brand!

Established in 2009, the company, which is co-owned by Peter Hudspeth and Andy Wyatt, specializes in supplying and fitting custom home cinema, “smart” home technologies, multi-room audio & intelligent lighting systems, with a showroom on the spa town’s Bower Road.

Peter said:

Over the last three years we have established a very successful business and now is the right time to look at spreading our wings further afield.

Whilst we already have a growing number of clients in the York area, we were keen to establish a firm foothold in the city. We knew AVSinc and its owner, Paul Dunbar, well and, when we learned there was a chance to acquire the business we didn’t hesitate.

Andy said:

We are delighted that Paul is now an integral part of our business. We are taking this opportunity to launch another AudioVogue group operation in the area as soon as possible.

This will sit alongside the Harrogate Home Cinema brand and offer a wide range of services, from fixing flat screen TVs to walls, right through to the highest-spec multi-room audio visual installation.

The final piece in the York jigsaw is to locate a suitable premises for us to open an AudioVogue showroom. Hopefully this can be achieved by early in the New Year.
