Assault outside Sainsbury’s on Kings Road – CCTV images released

Harrogate police have released CCTV images of a woman they are looking for in connection with an assault outside a local supermarket.

During the incident, a 33-year-old woman, suffered a broken bone in her leg when she was shoved to the ground outside Sainsbury’s on King’s Road at around 9.30pm on Friday 10 June 2011.

After reviewing CCTV footage at the store, officers have identified a suspect they would like to speak to and are appealing to the public to help trace her.

PC Zoe Langley, of Harrogate police, said:

The victim’s injuries required an operation to repair the damage caused to her leg.

The images we have obtained show a clear picture of the woman suspected of being involved in the incident and I am appealing for the public to tell us who she is.

If you recognise the suspect or witnessed the assault itself, please contact the police or Crimestoppers with information.
