Police in Halifax are appealing for information. They are investigating an allegation of assault in Sowerby Bridge which occurred around 9.45pm last night , Friday 13th May 2011, near to the Roxy Venue in Wharf Street.
A 42 year old man sustained serious head injuries. He is currently being treated in hospital and is in a critical but stable condition.
Detectives at Halifax CID are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and has information that could help the enquiry to come forward and call them on 01422 337085.
