Bramham Park is hosting Fashion Joins Forces, a major fashion event, on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd June during the Welcome to Yorkshire Bramham International Horse Trials.
Harvey Nichols and Ogden of Harrogate are combining to stage three glittering catwalk shows over the two days, supported by Coutts & Co, in aid of the Yorkshire Regiment Charitable Trust and the Household Cavalry Operational Casualty Fund (HCOCF).
This event is to launch Fashion Joins Forces as an exciting new fund-raising initiative and we very much hope that the fashion world will join the journey.
The BBC’s Gabby Logan will be the headline host of both shows on Thursday in conjunction with Clair Frisby (BBC Look North). When volunteering to host the event Gabby Logan said, ‘I am thrilled to be involved in the Fashion Joins Forces event at Bramham.
The money they raise goes towards buying some very simple but life enhancing things which most of us take for granted, at a time when some of the bravest people in our country, the men and women in the armed forces, need our help the most. I really hope the event is a huge success, raises lots of money and people will have fun along the way.’
On Friday Elly Fiorentini (BBC Radio York) takes over as host. In addition to the catwalk shows, Amanda Wakeley will showcase her current collection and offer styling advice in a pop-up boutique; Ogden of Harrogate will be displaying a wide range of watches and jewellery and Armani Makeup will have experts on site, offering styling advice.
The world-renowned Welcome to Yorkshire Bramham International Horse Trials is offering free entry to those attending the catwalk show, plus additional entry on another day of their choice. Fashion Joins Forces organisers Rachel Lane Fox and Emma Ingilby said “We are extremely proud and excited to be staging this fashion event. It’s a great opportunity to raise funds and awareness for two fantastic military charities.”
Robert Ogden, Director of Ogden of Harrogate:
“Bramham Park will make a stunning backdrop for such an exciting and worthwhile initiative, and we’re delighted to be a founding partner of Fashion Joins Forces.”
