Harrogate law firm Berwins is running a series of spring seminars for senior managers and directors covering some of the major issues currently facing businesses.
The first event, led by Paul Berwin and Claire Armer, will be held on March 23. It will offer expert legal advice for IT professionals on key issues including documenting Agile development, protecting core intellectual property and the traps and opportunities of open source. Paul Berwin has been recognised by the Legal 500 directory for his IT expertise.
On March 30 Paul and Claire will be joined by fellow lawyers Marie Walsh and Caroline Acton for a seminar detailing strategies SME business can use when negotiating with larger corporates. “Being David, negotiating with Goliath” will show directors and senior managers how to protect their businesses and intellectual and human capital during negotiations.
Marie Walsh and Caroline Acton will team up on April 13 to offer a practical and pragmatic guide to effectively managing capability issues and sickness absences without damage to your business. The event is aimed at HR Directors and managers, and anyone responsible for managing people.
The workshops will all be held at the City Executive Centres, Copthall Bridge House, Station Bridge, Harrogate from 8am. To book a place contact firstname.lastname@example.org or tel 01423 543114.
